About Marjory Harris

I love to write. I also love to help people find solutions to problems. I'm a practical problem solver and a storyteller.

As soon as I started to read, I began writing. I still have many of my childhood scribblings, poems I wrote in high school, and diaries from various decades. I started out as a writer while finishing my master's degree in Italian literature. I wrote captions for an international news photo agency in New York City.  After that I worked on popular magazines. Years later, after becoming a lawyer in San Francisco, I wrote a novel -- never published -- and later edited a digital magazine for 10 years.

I've been a social worker, lawyer, counselor, and founder of Multidimensional Problem Solvingsm, the predecessor to The Personal Power Roadmap. I have master’s degrees in literature and psychology and a juris doctor degree in law. For years I wrote articles on office efficiency and organizational techniques, both low tech and tech. My avocation is horticulture.

In 2015, I published my first book, The Personal Power Roadmap: The Ultimate 7 Step System to Effectively Solve Problems, Make Decisions, and Reach Your Goals. In 2016, I published The Master Note System: A New Way to Use Evernote to Organize Your Life. Next came The Resolution Roadmap: The Effective New System For Achieving New Year's Resolutions, followed by a series of Food Memories.

In 2017, I took a break from non-fiction to work on some memoir pieces. The Food Memories Series are short pieces on life, love, and relationships set in past decades and featuring delicious comfort foods. You can find them here. My most vivid food memories involve love relationships, platonic or romantic. I'm not a foodie, but I love to experiment in the kitchen and am an avid fan of cooking shows.
